10. Accept vs Except
We have all done the mistake of confusing these two words. They sound the same and even look the same barring the first letters. So let us clear the confusion at first, accept means to receive something willingly. “I am accepting this award”. On the other hand, except highlights exclusion. You are leaving out on something. “ I have done all my work except writing”.
