5. Ginger may reduce muscle pain and soreness
Ginger may be helpful in reducing the muscle soreness caused by exercise. Results show the effectiveness of ginger in people who took 2 grams of ginger for 11 days as it reduced the elbow exercise-induced pain. However, the ginger does not show any immediate effect like a prescribed medicine, but it may be useful is reducing the daily progression of muscle pain. This effect of ginger is believed to be caused by its anti-inflammatory properties.
