Arguably the most common form of sleeping position is the side sleepers. And personally, I find it the best position to sleep in. I mean, you can snuggle your pillows all you want and sleep peacefully when you are on your sides. Doctors often advise people to sleep on their left side as it helps the circulation of blood better throughout the body. Side sleeping is also a must for pregnant ladies as sleeping on their back can cause lower back pain which can be dangerous for the mother and the baby. And sleeping on the stomach is, of course, a forbidden thing for them. On the other hand, sleeping on the sides can put pressure on the shoulders and if you sleep through the night at one position, then you will wake up with a numbed side. So the best way to avoid this is by changing sides and that can ruin the flow of your sleep.
