This is going to be helpful if you need to check a ton of emails. Some people may use multiple accounts. Thus, the phone gets flooded with emails and becomes difficult to manage and keep track of. For such cases, the iCloud email account can help you swipe the emails to Trash.

Simply go to the settings and tap on the account you are using. Then tap on Advanced where you will find the heading “Move Discarded Messages Into:” You need to change the Archive Mailbox to Deleted Mailbox. Now, if you go back to Mail App and enter into the inbox of your respective account, you can find the Trash option by swiping from right to left.
