4. Stop using Photo Stream
Your last 1,000 photos across your iOS devices are automatically synced to iPhone’s Photo Stream, which means that it’s storing 1,000 photos, about 1 GB, twice. So just turn it off unless you need to share your photos from your iPad to your iPhone all the time. Under Settings, scroll down to Photos & Camera and toggle off My Photo Stream.
