8. Shibazakura Hill, Japan
During the spring, the fields at the base of Mount Fuji erupt with hundreds of thousands of moss blooms, or “Shiba zak Ura”, in varying shades of pink. This creates a wonderful contrast against the sky, giving it a surreal look.
