5. Comprise vs Compose
There have been quite a lot of confusion regarding this particular pair of words. It isn’t that difficult once you understand them. Comprise means to include, compose on the other hand means to make up of. A football match is comprised of two halves. It means there are two halves included in the game. A football team, however, is composed of 11 players. The team is made with 11 players on the field.
