1. Pleasure vs Purpose

Probably the best way to differentiate a relationship and a partnership is via the two things we seek in these two ideas. In a relationship, it is all about the pleasure. And by that, I don’t mean only sexual pleasure. Often people get into relationships because they are alone, they need the companion, and they want to be a part of something and so on. That is why they will get into the relationship with whatever they can get. On the other hand, being in a partnership is all about upgrading yourself. With the help of your partner, you can become somebody stronger and become a better person. The other person has the same idea, values, and principles as you and thereby you create a life together instead of seeking temporary fixes.
