3. Brain Tumor
While doing an eye exam, the doctor takes a closer look at the blood vessels and the optic nerves connected to the brain. If they notice some sort of swelling or shadows then it means there is something wrong with your brain. These could be either a tumour in the brain or even blood clots which may lead to a brain stroke. You do need further tests to confirm a brain tumour or a possible clot, but the eye exam can and does give you an idea if your brain is in danger.
