1. Indole
Indole is a certain chemical which can be found in different flowers. It has a very strong odor and is usually added to perfumes to add a flowery smell to it. Most of the synthetic floral perfumes wouldn’t smell anything like the flowers they claim to be without a mixture of indole. The most interesting thing about indole is that indoles are formed from a chemical which is quite similar to serotonin. Serotonin is an element which is known for reacting with our brain receptors and make us feel pleasure. In a way, these works as LSD would with our bodies. So a lot of people simply use indole as a form of gaining pleasure.
