Another myth that prevents people from working out properly. This is a misconception that muscles weigh more than fat does. In fact muscles and fat weight the same. One pound of muscle is equal to one pound of fat. However, muscle is more dense than fat. As a result, muscle takes less space than fat does. So if you have more muscle then you are likely to look much leaner. A man who weighs 150 pounds will look much different if he has more muscle than fat. Once again, you shouldn’t focus on the numbers on the weight scale.
