3. Cultural Expansion
When we are living in our own country, we are being limited to only our culture. We don’t get to experience the different traditions and social norms of different people. By living abroad, you get to experience these firsthand and learn the new culture as a local instead of a tourist. You can see the politeness of a Thai person or the punctuality of a Japanese. You can learn about how people in Spain have their siesta during the day or learn the daily food intake of an Italian. That’s not all, you can even learn a new language and develop these positive habits. Your views on people all of a sudden expand exponentially.
