Smoothies contain fibre as they use whole fruits or vegetables (including the skin) and many recipes include yoghurt or protein powders, as well as kale, spinach, beets and carrots. The fibres help with digestion and keep you from frequent snacking. This makes them much healthier and more filling than overly sweet juices.
