3. Put away your phone
Phone calls and text messages can disrupt the rhythm of your workout and this can be especially distracting if you aren’t in the mood for an intense workout. Switch your phone off or put in the airplane mode before you start exercising. Checking your email or social media updated can be tempting, but will also make you lose focus on what you are doing. Instead, stick to your workout and use every minute of that time to focus on exercising and getting those muscles to work.
