While the rest of the European cities have been in some sort of slump since 2008, Sweden and its city of Stockholm have been increasing their development by leaps and bounds. It is considered as the fastest growing technology startup hub of Europe. A stable economy, a well-skilled workforce has earned Stockholm to gain 15% of the technology investment of the entire continent. It also happens to be the home of some of the most recognized tech superstars such as Niklas Zennström of Skype, Martin Lorentzon of Spotify, and Daniel Ek of µTorrent.
