Jealousy is a poisonous trait that wreaks havoc on relationships. An independent woman knows she is a mature adult who can handle herself. She also wants to be treated like a level-headed adult who can be trusted. Independent women are driven away by insecurity. They want to know that their partner can trust them enough without interrogating them about where they are or who they are with all the time.
