4. BBQ Sauce
Most people can’t imagine having ribs with BBQ or steak sauce. However, the truth behind this flavorful condiment is nasty- it is basically a concoction of unhealthy ingredients mixed together. Most bottled BBQ sauces contain tomato paste, dried herbs, vinegar, salt and colouring. Not surprisingly it also has lots of corn syrup and artificial flavoring. The combination of processed ingredients, corn syrup and artificial colouring and flavouring makes this an extremely unhealthy option. Try to cut out of your diet entirely by using other ingredients to your meat such as lemon juice, fresh herbs or other homemade sauces.
