1. Mayonnaise
Store bought mayonnaise is crammed with fat- and not the good kind. Processed mayo has lots of soybean oil and other LDLs which can greatly increase the cholesterol levels in the body. Besides that, it also contains corn syrup, sugar, salt and other flavorings that can wreak havoc on your health in the long run. Making mayonnaise at home is simple and quick- just blend some egg yolks with oil, salt, vinegar and a dash of mustard. The homemade version doesn’t last long but can be made in small batches when needed. It is a much tastier, cheaper and healthier option when compared to commercial mayonnaise.
