4. Put that phone away
Our lives are somewhat dictated by our smartphones. Everything seems to be in it; our friends, family, work, social media, games, apps, cameras, calendar and even to do lists. Thus we seem to be always tapping away at it and never concentrate fully on what is really important in life. The constant notifications from different apps don’t help our cause either. The best way to broaden your attention span and get things done in time is to keep the cell phone away from yourself. Turn off all the notifications, and keep it away from your work place. Don’t keep it so far away that you have to constantly get up to check for emergency calls though. Keep at an arms distance and only look at it if there is a call.
