1. Fake blueberries
The blueberries you find in desserts, bagels and trail mixes aren’t the fresh fruits you think they are. Most brands use chemically engineered substances to make artificial blueberries as this is much cheaper than using the real thing. Even brands like Kellogg’s and Betty Crocker use artificial blueberry bits made from flour, palm oil, citric acid, sucralose and of course food colouring and artificial flavouring.
