2. Hydrate
No matter what kind of task you are performing, whether it is physical or mental, you need to remain hydrated to perform perfectly. A dehydrated body will always feel weak, exhausted and not enough energy to perform any kind of work. In order to grow those muscles, you need to work hard and complete those reps properly and perfectly. To do so, you need to keep yourself hydrated at all times. The best way to ensure that is to drink water all throughout the day. This way you never feel dehydrated, especially during a workout session. Also, during a heavy workout, try to drink smart water that is water rich in electrolytes.
