3. No plastic toothbrushes
Over 8 million pieces of plastic toothbrushes are dumped into our oceans each year. This pollution causes the deaths of 100,000 marine mammals and a million sea birds. One good alternative to plastic toothbrushes are toothbrushes that are made out of bamboo. There are other toothbrushes that are made of recyclable plastic.
