7. Be prepared
Keep some handy items in your carry-on. You never know what might happen and it’s always good to be prepared. Keep some water, candy, and a good book in case there is a delay or you get bored on the plane. Make sure you phone is fully charged and keep you earphones with you. It never hurts to bring sanitizer, wet wipes or other hygiene materials either. You can also bring a travel-sized toothbrush and paste. A change of clothing can also come in handy in case of an emergency. Keep a pen ready for filling out customs forms. If you are prone to nausea and motion sickness, keep the medication on hand.
