6. Liberal Thinking
Apart from the geographical fact, if you’re not a very “liberal” thinker, Netherlands may then appear to you as a “Low Country” as it has legalized practices such as abortion, prostitution and euthanasia while also maintaining a drug policy considered as a progressive one.
