3. Keep all your documents with you
Keep a copy of all the test results, prescriptions, discharge papers and others reports. You can even keep a notebook and log all your symptoms, queries as well as the dosage and times of your various medication. It can be difficult to get copies of these things afterwards and keeping a separate set of documents and make things easier for you when you go for a follow-up. It also helps you keep track of your treatment, procedures and medication. When you get discharged, keep a log of everything your doctor and nurses advised you to do, just in case you forget later.
