Not many people understand that there is a vast difference in being in a relationship and in being in a partnership. Nowadays, everyone seems to be in a relationship. The term relationship has been watered down so much that it has lost its value. You can be in a relationship with somebody you talk to regularly but then that person can be in another relationship because he or she talks to other people regularly too. 4. Labels
The thing about relationships is that you have no clear cut idea about what is going on. You two don’t have any labels for each other. You are always trying to find out what kind of feelings the other one have for you. And you are not even sure if you guys are a thing. It is all shrouded in a cloud of uncertainty. In the case of a partnership, you two know what you are. All your feelings and labels have been already established and you know how to present one another to the general public.
