1. Can’t Deal With What Could Have Been
When you talk to somebody on a regular basis you develop this habit for that person. You expect things to continue in that way. This is really the reason why we all think that there is a future for us with that person. Every little memory you had with them, every minute spent together becomes a trigger for what-if scenarios. You wonder what could have happened if you had the guts to actually ask that person out. Maybe it would make it easier for you if you guys had the talk before things fell apart.
Well, whatever the reason it is for not working out you can still hope. You don’t necessarily have to hope for a future with that same person. You can, however, see yourself with somebody better. Somebody who would feel the same way as you did. Maybe that is the thing which will help you get over your almost relationship.
