6. Be a leader
This does not mean you need to act bossy, but people are attracted to power. A study in 2014 found that people in a group think that the group’s leader is more attractive than people who aren’t in the group. Similarly in a company, employees find the CEO more attractive than people outside the company. Lead author Kevin Kniffin and his colleagues said that ‘In contrast with research traditions that treat physical attractiveness as a static trait, our findings highlight the importance of group membership as a lens for perceiving familiar leaders’ physical attractiveness,’.
