The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is a Western anthology film written and directed by the Coen Brothers. The film consists of six different stories, each written by one of the brothers. Each story is a chapter in an anthology.
The film is based on six short stories. Five of them are from the book “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs,” and one is an original story by the Coen brothers. These stories follow a cowboy travelling through the old west as he tells tall tales about his adventures with criminals in each story. The film has a lot of comedy in it and many different emotions that viewers can experience with each story. It also has many different themes to think about like death, family, and loneliness.
