1. Cardiovascular movements
It is believed that anything that is good for the heart is good for the brain. So while selecting an exercise it is wise to opt the ones which consolidate cardiovascular movements; for example playing badminton or swimming. These types of sports or activities increase the rate of the heartbeat which in turn pumps more oxygen to the brain resulting to cognitive development in the brain. Additionally, they help release excessive hormones and together they spawn a nourishing terrain for the growth of the brain cells.
Every muscle in our body needs special care to be kept fit and healthy for a life-time. Our brain is no different. However, today’s fitness-conscious generation perhaps had no idea that the conjunction between the physical exercise and the stimulation of the brain cells is a priceless boon; which mobilizes the neurons and increases the growth of new connections between the cells for better and wider retention of memory and information.
