5. Hush (2016)
Co-written by the actress Kate Siegel, the movie focuses on one night when a deaf woman has to evade dying at the hands of a killer who’s trying to break into her house and kill her. Kate Siegel turns in an excellent lead performance in this harrowing thriller.
