3. Fly On Specific Days
Fridays and Sundays are the days where air traffic is highest. During those days, the price of the tickets is going to be higher than usual. Nobody really wants to fly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays because that would be a working day. People also don’t want to fly on Saturdays because that would mean you are sacrificing one vacation days. However, if you are looking to save money on air tickets then I suggest you fly during midweek. Airplanes don’t want to fly with empty seats and as a result, they lower their price significantly during midweek. So if you are an opportunist then book flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
