8. No, no and more no
Liars are often adamant at answering questions with a simple and straight “no”, to questions like “Were you present there at that time?” or “A reference from your resume hinted that you have outbursts of temper at your workplaces”. And interesting point to note is they will utter ‘no’ in different ways like:
- say ‘no’ and look somewhere else or down
- hesitate and say ‘no’
- say ‘no’ and then close their eyes
- say “noooo” outstretched
- say ‘no’ with a melody like a child playing along
