Notice how a person behaves under stress; the suspect may start talking more rapidly, the voice-pitch may become higher, and may encounter more interruptions in speech like “um” or “uh”.
And note one thing liars are stuck with the additional frustration of convincing the listener, than to just convey. As such he or she repeats one piece of information multiple times to ensure that he is being believed.
