iOS9 has a new improved search with Siri suggestions which is very useful. However, it might be irrelevant for you to see all kinds of results within the search. In such a case, customize your Spotlight Search to avoid unwanted results.

  1. First, go to Settings.
  2. Tap on Spotlight Search.
  3. Tap on each category to remove a checkmark and remove it from search results.
