10 of Europe’s Most Enchanted Off-the-radar Islands

3. Tinos, Greece

Tinos is an undiscovered Cycladic island just 15 minutes by ferry from Mykonos. It has a fertile backcountry with windmills and dovecotes in the Venetian style, beautiful villages, and beaches with no tourists. People often go to Tinos to worship the healing icon at Panagia Evangelistria, and the church has kept the island from becoming too crowded. Kardiani and Volax are two pretty, quiet villages. Pyrgos, with its tavernas and craft shops, is a busier place.
