1. Washing with water that’s too hot or cold
Skin health has a lot to do with the kind of water you use on it. Some people prefer cold water which can often leave behind unhealthy buildup, while hot water can sometimes be too drying for sensitive skin.
For effective skin cleansing, it is best to use lukewarm water. This removes the buildup on your face while still preserving the natural oils on your skin. Try to find the “sweet spot” – use water with a 98ºF to 108ºF (36.5ºC to 40.5ºC).
