10 Exercises to Do After a Long Day Sitting at Your Desk

People who work at their computers all day should do this kind of exercise to warm up their necks and eliminate the tension they have built up. It’s also important to note that you should not do this if you already have neck or cervical problems.

  1. Gently roll your head to one side from a comfortable sitting position, with both hands on top of your thigh.
  2. Next, move your neck in a circle by rolling your head back, then to the other side, and then to the front.
  3. Go back to where you started and start moving again, but in the opposite direction.
  4. Rep 5 times, alternating the side on which you began.
  5. Keep in mind that you should only widen the rotation of the neck roll slowly, and you should stop if you feel pain.
