In this exercise, you will stretch the muscles in your back and hips simultaneously. Hips that are correctly aligned and flexible help to enhance your posture, which in turn helps to improve your general well-being.

  1. Place your feet flat on the floor in front of your desk and your arms at your sides. Make sure the desk is free of clutter so that you can use its surface.
  2. Forming an inverted L with your left knee, lift your left foot toward the desk and bend your left knee.
  3. Lie down on the desk and lean your upper body forward.
  4. Rest your chin on the desk, or rest your palms on your palms.
  5. Hold this position for 15 seconds, then switch to the other leg and repeat the process.
