Several studies suggest that coffee could help keep the liver healthy and keep diseases away. For example, one study found that people with liver disease who drank more than two cups of coffee per day were less likely to get liver scarring and liver cancer.

In another recent study, researchers found that drinking coffee was linked to a less stiff liver, which is a sign of fibrosis, which is the formation of scar tissue in the liver.
