4. Supports heart health
Some research suggests that coffee may be good for your heart. In fact, one study found that people who drank three to five cups of coffee a day had a 15% lower risk of getting heart disease. Another review of 21 studies showed that drinking three to four cups of coffee every day was linked to a 21% lower risk of stroke.
Also, one study that looked at more than 21,000 people found that drinking more coffee was linked to a much lower risk of heart failure.
But keep in mind that caffeine could change how high your blood pressure is. So, people whose blood pressure isn’t under control may need to limit or moderate how much caffeine they drink.
