3. Seaweed
Seaweed is one of the few non-animal products that are high in vitamin B12. This makes it an excellent way for vegans and vegetarians to replace meat in their diets. It has also been called a “superfood” because it is high in iodine and fiber and could help you lose weight. But getting too much iodine could cause problems with the thyroid and even make you gain weight. Depending on where it grew, some seaweed may also have a lot of heavy metals in it.
