2. Give yourself some “me time.”
We are often our own harshest critics, and even though we know we should always be kind to others, we shouldn’t forget how important it is to be kind and forgiving to ourselves. After all, being kind is also a skill! We have real power when we accept ourselves as we are.
The best way to do that is to let go of everything, take some time for yourself, and just relax. Do something that makes you happy, like play an instrument, draw, sing, or dance like no one is watching.
