If not now, when?” She also attributed this phrase to actress Emma Watson, who included it on her 2014 HeForShe United Nations speech. However, the words are not hers and the quote is actually a shorter version of one of Judaism’s most famous sayings. According to The Jewish Week Media Group, the saying should have been attributed to Hillel the Elder, a first century BCE sage.
