5. White rice
Very similar to white bread is white rice and like the former, it is also an “empty calorie” with very little nutritional value and rather encourages the body to store up some additional fat, making it way harder to really lose some weight. But rather consuming brown rice is as a matter of fact helpful since it is rich in fiber, full of vitamins and nutrients, allowing you to feel full and satisfied for longer, lowering cholesterol, blood pressure and even increases your body’s blood flow.
