2. Apply a tick to your favorite songs
Long time back you could set which songs were to be transferred to your iPod/iPhone and which weren’t by using the small checkboxes next to songs in your iTunes library. Although they can’t be used in the same manner, you can always include and exclude songs from your playlists. There is a Match only checked items box for every smart playlist so that you can leave out the unticked items. You can put ticks next to your favorite tracks and untick the songs you don’t want to listen to any time soon.
