6. Follow the rule of 24 hours.
When we buy something, our feelings can sometimes get in the way. When we want to purchase something massive, we might even go crazy. And when we buy something small, it’s easy to do because we’re not spending a lot of money and it’s a quick way to have fun. But when you add up all of these things and look at what you end up with, you realize that these purchases were not very smart.
So, the 24-hour rule is the way to stop spending money on things you really don’t need. Wait just one day before you buy something. When your feelings settle down, you’ll be able to see how you really feel. You’ll be surprised by how many things you choose not to buy.
