3. Can’t compare experiences
The thing about material stuff is that you can always compare them to something else. So you bought a BMW car? Well, your friend just purchased a Lamborghini. You have bought a new shoe, but you still prefer your old pair. This kind of comparison is never ending. It is in the human nature to do so. Experiences, on the other hand, can never be compared. I mean, yes you can say that the summer vacation was better than the one you took in winter but your experience can’t be compared to somebody else’s. One person may have had a torrid time at a cycling trip, but you may have thoroughly enjoyed it. Nobody can dampen your experience or the pleasure you received.
