In southern Iceland, a large glacial lake is situated on the edge of Vatnajökull National Park. This glacial river lagoon was formed when the glacial started subsiding from the Atlantic Ocean. It has an amazing view of ice cap with a turquoise coloured vast dome of ice. In summer, the icebergs start to melt, they get break free from the lagoon and roll down along the sea water. However, in winter, the whole lake freezes. These icebergs are usually seen in two colours- bright blue and milky white. Numerous Hollywood film shootings were held in this famous lake over the years.
