2. High Blood Pressure
Around 75 million Americans have high blood pressure, and most of the time, medication can keep it under control. However, your diet could be affecting your blood pressure more than you realize.
As with many other conditions, there are foods that can both help with high blood pressure, and foods that can make it worse. Try to avoid eating foods high in salt, or packaged foods that are often laden with sodium.
If you have high blood pressure, change up your diet by eating more leafy greens, berries, bananas, oatmeal, and fatty fish. If you change your diet the healthy way, you may be able to get on a lower dose of blood pressure medication.
